What is the minimum order of wine I have to purchase?

Welcome to winecave.com.au. Using winecave.com.au is simple and straightforward if you remember when you are purchasing from us you can order from as little as one bottle, or as many as you like. Your minimum spend is $200 of fabulous wine, for free delivery. You can also mix up a case of 12 bottles, or have 12 straight bottles of the same. Basically what-ever way you choose. Under $200 attracts a $20 handling and shipping fee.


If the wine is advertised why can't I have it?

winecave.com.au the utmost care is taken to bring you the most up to date information on all wines, but from time to time a wine might change it's price, vintage, image or availability between the time you see it and the time it is ordered and confirmed. In this instance we will contact you and advise of the change and request whether the change is suitable for you to go ahead with the purchase. If you are not happy with the changes, and have gone through the checkout process, we will give you the choice of a refund or winecave.com.au Credit Note to spend on your next purchase. If you choose a refund, while we will process the refund straight away, the money may take 2 to 5 days to reach your account, which is due to bank processing, and unfortunately not under our control. Please note bottle images on the site may not always reflect the actual product.

Is your checkout secure?

Winecave.com.au utilizes the security of PAYPAL for its checkout procedure, which we believe to be the most secure payment gateway we could find, so you can have confidence that the money will reach its target and not get lost. Paypal also allows VISA or MASTERCARD payments.

Do I have to use the checkout?

You may also pay by DIRECT DEBIT, if you don't want to use the payment gateway on
winecave.com.au. Please note that paying by direct debit will add to the delivery time, as funds must be cleared first before wine is dispatched.

Is my purchase insured?

All wine and accessories are fully insured, so rest assured if on the rare instance something happens to you delivery, it is fully covered for replacement, credit or refund.

Are there age restrictions?

Yes, to use
winecave.com.au you must be over 18 years by Australian Law.

Why should I register?

Registering for the monthly newsletter is a great way to receive monthly specials to remind you that here at
winecave.com.au you will find the greatest range of wines at the greatest prices.

Do I have to be home to receive delivery of my wine?

Someone the age of 18 or over, needs to be available to accept your package if you are not there. Any deliveries requiring redelivery, or redirection from an address provided by yourself to a new address provided by yourself, will incur an additional delivery charge.

Please ensure the delivery address provided is one where someone will be home who is 18 or over 18, to accept the wine. As alcohol is under strict controls for delivery, the delivery person will not leave a package of wine unattended or not in a secure and safe place, so it arrives to you safely and in perfect condition. You may nominate a safe place to leave your wine, or often a work or office address may be a safer option for delivery during business hours.
