Wine and Winery Information

Canard Duchêne Parcelle NV

Canard-Duchêne is unique in its origins, history and style. The Champagne house has been located in Ludes, in the Montagne de Reims National Park, since 1868. Its founders, Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne, both well-known characters in Champagne, were granted the right by the Russian Imperial Family to adopt its coat of arms as the family emblem. The crowned two-headed eagle has thus appeared on every CanardDuchêne label since the end of the 19th century. Combining fruit character, intensity and freshness, Canard-Duchêne Champagnes offer the perfect balance of originality and authenticity.

“ The ethos of “Parcelle 181” is in line with Canard-Duchêne’s global mission as an important Champagne house, respectful of its immediate environment.”

This organic Champagne is partially vinified in oak barrels and blended from 12 hectares of organically certified and cultivated vineyards, including 7 hectares of “Parcel 181“ located in Verneuil.

“Parcelle 181” is a blend of 42% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Meunier and 21% Pinot Noir (organically grown grapes).
